How to reuse your live Christmas tree

Please think about reusing your live Christmas Tree by putting it outside for wildlife rather than throwing it out on the curb.  Toss some bird seed in the tree and watch how the birds love their new hang out spot!  In the Spring you can cut it up and let it naturally decay in a corner of your yard.  You will be adding habitats for a wide variety of native species.  Thanks for your help.
